For those who doesn't know who he is, he is the creator of Crayon Shin Chan.

The police has confirmed the body found at the bottom of the cliff where Yoshito Usui went missing since 11th Sept belonged to the late artist.

More detailed news from Mainichi.

He was one of the few artist that manages to portray so many emotions & expressions with such a simple drawings.

I personally don't really follow the manga closely but I do read them from time to time and it's really hilarious. A really good manga for you to read to relax.

We mourn the loss of such a great artist.

MG Force Impulse Part 4

To make Impulse Gundam into Force Impulse Gundam...One more part is needed which I didn't mention in part 1, is its Force Silhouette.

So, this is the pieces needed to assemble the Silhouette Flyer & the Force Silhouette:

Completed Silhouette Flyer & Force Silhouette.(The jet-like white part in front is the Silhouette Flyer, while the red part at the back is the Force Silhouette.

There are some paintings needed for the Silhouette Flyer to get the accurate color scheme. The whites on the Flyer's wings, as shown below is hand painted. You can see some messy-ness I've yet to clean..=P

Sometime last week, I had a chat with my sis(Kak Long), we were talking about some random stuffs and then we get into music, which we often does.

I was showing her the new Creed's song, and then she asked me to look for songs that have motivational quality to its' lyrics like Bon Jovi's It's My Life & Nickelback's Gotta Be Somebody.

I've known the Nickelback's song for a while now, even learned the guitar parts, which is actually quite simple. Real mainstream stuff. Really catchy. But I've never really looked into the lyrics before.

Yesterday, when I had some free time, I remembered this song(Nickelback - Gotta Be Somebody), and decided to look into the lyrics and finding out why my sister likes this song so much.

First time through... I'm freakin' in love with the song! I liked the song before but just as I like any other catchy songs.

I'm maybe not a good interpreter in terms of songs' lyrics and stuff but at least I'm sure I know what I like. For some, maybe this song doesn't mean much, it's just another love song written for a rock tune. The lyrics for this song straight forward, nothing fancy, but its easy to understand for a change. I can easily relate to the song, which I rarely do. And thus, this song has become one of the few songs that makes me feel touched.

PG Astray Red Frame

This is just the straight up assembled PG Astray Red Frame..The simplest you could get out of the box...Open-Cut-Panel Line-Assemble....

I don't know when will I ever own a PG..it costs RM700+

And the next PG will be PG 00 Raiser!!.. I want that too!!! It is scheduled to be released in November..and the price will be RM990+...I'm sure when it's out here in Malaysia the price will go up to 1K+++... -_-"

There are not so many parts for the Leg Flyer as compared to the Chest Flyer. It only has:

MG Force Impulse Part 2

For part 2, I'm gonna show the 2nd part of the main body of Impulse Gundam, the Chest Flyer.

Chest Flyer is actually consists of:
1. Torso
2. Head
3. Arms & Hands
4. Shoulders
5. Beam Rifle
6. Shield

I started of building the Chest Flyer by building its torso first,

You can see the small markings(X56S SEI) on the forehead which is kinda neat, considering how small this kit is. With my fingers visible on the photo above, you can clearly see the size of the head. Awesome detailing by Bandai. ^^

Basically I just show parts for one hand, as for the other hand, the parts are more or less similar with some mirrored version of the same parts.

MG Force Impulse Part 1

My Megatron is still 80% done in its phase 3... Meanwhile I decided to assemble this Gunpla.

MG Force Impulse Gundam

First I'd like to show all the runners involved in constructing this MG.

Now I've got the runners out of the way, I can start assembling the gunpla. One thing about this gundam is that it's not one piece robot like most other gundams. It's constructed from 3 different parts for its main body, which is:
1. Core Splendor (where the pilot is)
2. Chest Flyer (upper torso)
3. Leg Flyer (Leg...what else? ^^)

The Gundam name is basically just Impulse gundam.. the name 'Force' signifies the current mode the gundam is in. There are 3 different modes which are, Force Impulse, Sword Impulse & Blast Impulse, each with its own specialty. For Force Impulse, its specialty is mobility & balanced firepower.

I'm gonna start with core splendor in this post. Core splendor is basically where the cockpit is. Shaped like a small jet, it will transform somewhat to fit in the waist of the Gundam during the combination to be Impulse gundam.

Here's the parts needed to construct the Core Splendor.

The Core Splendor is quite small. So, it required some paintings to get the color scheme right. like the blue on the wings, the little red part on the front vents, the grey on the nose & missile & and the yellow part on the tail(i dunno if this is what's it called).

I can't believe I've been screwed twice by girls in this one month... -_-

One girl added me in MySpace and I think she's kinda cute..I said hi..She responded..
After that, all of a sudden she became all friendly to me...so I thought "Wow, this must be my lucky day".. all the while I was actually being played...

I had suspected that there is something not quite right with the girl,.. her photos seemed somehow unnatural..seemed too good to be true...I played along,..along the way became more and more comfortable and then at one point, I'm almost certain she was real.

One day, she said to me that there is this one guy told her that she looked alot like this one Japanese AV star. So I googled the AV star. The resemblance is almost scary.. so I began to have my doubts...

I started asking her to have a webcam chat with me but instead, when we chat, I'm always the only one with my webcam on. She said that her PC doesn't have webcam, her laptop was always with her friend so she couldn't use it. Conveniently when she had her laptop with her, I'm always unavailable..When I'm finally online, her laptop was again with her friend. This scenario happens over and over again but I said, it's ok.. Its not the time yet maybe..I'll wait.

I started downloading videos of the AV star. One video completed.. Damn! new material.. hahaha.

Second video completed... I watched it. Then in this video, there's this one part showing some website that has some photos. To my absolute surprise (or OBVIOUSLY), there's this one photo of the girl that she used on her MySpace which confirms my suspicion that the girl is FAKE.

When I told her about my discovery, she became defensive and told me I was making excuses for not wanting to see her and asked for proof. She even swore to god she didn't lie to me. I sent her an email(I don't know what for) with the screenshot of the part of the video with the photo of her. I don't know whether or not she opened the email. After that, she sort of disappear from my MySpace and kept quiet until now.

Quoted from her MySpace page:
"...I Don't Do Perverts, Sex Maniacs, Psychos, Fakers, Desperados, Wannabes, Annoying People, Backstabbers, etc..."

FAKERS?? Who's the goddamn FAKERS?? Does it feel good playing with other people's feeling? Does it feel good faking your own existence just to get attention from guys?
Who's the goddamn Desperados?? Speaking for yourself. Wannabes?? I still don't get how her mindset works...

Thanks to her though, I get to fantasize of being with this one cute girl who doesn't exists.

My conclusion,

Girls - Liars, Hypocrites, Untrustworthy until proven otherwise.

Gone were the days when girls claim to be the victim of guys' misconduct.

Should have just stayed with my guitar, animes, gundams & transformers. Life's so much easier and fun without this fucking relationship bullshit!

Harry Potter? Good?

Last night, Zahier called me and said, "Adi, kau buat ape? Nak gi tgk Harry Potter tak?"
I've been alone in my room this past few days watching animes, making gundam, completing my Megatron project. So, I figure it'd be nice to go out and watch the movie plus, the movie was only released the day before. It's a rare chance to get to watch movies as popular as Harry Potter this early to its release date.

The movie's trailers all looks promising. Pretty cool actually. So I said, "boleh jer, kalau tiket masih ade."

So in short, we went to Alamanda, Putrajaya and purchased the tickets(one of Zahier's friend had booked a number of tickets beforehand).

The show was at 12:30am. Midnight screening yo~ ^^

Fast forward till after the movie.

My impression of the movie was..."What??? Is this it??"

Yeah...I'm literally disappointed with this movie. For me, it's even worse than the previous installment.

In general, plot-wise, it was slow-paced, lots of lovey-dovey stuffs, no real backstory, and too long.

*WARNING* after this line there might be some/a lot of spoilers ahead.

Don't tell me I didn't warn you.

As if you didn't know the story already.. It's Harry Potter... You are bound to hear spoilers anyway... Like Dumbledore died, Snape is the Half-Blood Prince... Ooops!

Anyway, from what I can describe from watching the movie this one time, about 3/4 of the movie revolves around Harry's social life. Yeah... I'm serious. Okay, I might have exaggerate that a little bit, but, you know what I mean.

Too much screen time taken just to explain Harry's relationship with Ginny, Ron with Hermione. By the way, Hermione's cute!! Damnit!! Focus!

There are too much unnecessary scenes in my opinion. And then they tried to cramp all the necessary explanation towards the end of the movie.

For example, Dumbledore's death. It's suppose to be the climax of this movie but this is how it happen.

Dumbledore asks Harry to hide below the level their on and don't reveal himself no matter what happens. Harry hesitated at first, but eventually follows Dumbledore's requests. (They are in some sort of tower btw) Then, Draco Malfoy went up the stairs, meet Dumbledore, points his wand at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore tried to talk sense into Draco but without much success. Draco apparently without much fight(or without any fight at all), easily disarmed Dumbledore from his wand, who is apparently one of the greatest wizards of all time. Make sense eh?

Then Draco hesitated. His mission was to kill Dumbledore but he somehow couldn't find the will to do it. Then the Death Eaters came. Dumbledore greets them. The Death Eaters forces Draco to kill Dumbledore. Then Snape came.

This is what happen:
Dumbledore: Severus, please...
Snape: Avada Kedabra!(I wonder if it's the right spelling)

KABLAM!!!!
Dumbledore falls of the tower and died.

Just like that!!!

Then the scene where they reveal the Half-Blood Prince..

After Dumbledore died, Harry chases Snape who is going towards Hagrid's house.
After a little fight. Harry loses.

Snape: How do you expect to use my own spell against me.(Something like that)

Harry looks at snape in amazement.

Snape: Yes, I am the Half-Blood Prince.

Just like that!! The revelation of the Half-Blood Prince! That simple? No backstory, no flashbacks... Somehow Snape became important in this movie...

Voldemort didn't even get any screen time in this movie.

Like I said. To me, the movie pace was flat to the end. There were snoring all around me.

So, it was pretty disappointing movie for me. I got back, do a little search. Guess what? The movie got 80% approval from the mainstream movie critics!! 80%!!

To give you some idea,

The first review of the film came three weeks before the official release. Paul Dergarabedian of Hollywood.com ranked the film with The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and called the film a "possible Oscar misscontender". He highly praised the performance of Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman and Daniel Radcliffe. He commented, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a tour-de-force that combines style and substance, special effects and heart and most importantly great performances from all of the actors young and not-so-young". Another early review came from the UK tabloid The Sun, whose anonymous reviewer called the film "masterful" and "very emotional". The reviewer praised David Yates' directing and called Jim Broadbent's portrayal of Horace Slughorn "perfect".[104] Devin Faraci of Chud.com called the film not only the best Harry Potter film yet, but also one of the best films of the year. -taken from Wikipedia of course

See? And everyone I see went out of the cinema complaining. I was restless in my seat halfway through.

Call me "low standard" or anything, but I enjoyed Dragonball Evolution more than this movie.

Transformers 2 on the other hand, got flamed tremendously by movie critics, some says, "too many explosions", "bad acting", "too many plotholes", bla bla bla. Hell, they even called the twin robots racist because one of them having gold tooth & they speak with african american accents.. What the hell? There are white dudes who speak like that too. Plus, it was explained in the first movie that the transformers learned earth languages from the internet. Which is why jazz has an accent as well.

Project Beautifying Megatron Phase 2

Alright! Finally got phase 2 done!

Okay, in the previous phase, I've removed unwanted color(s) on the figure. So, now in this phase what I did was adding more colors to the figure, which was a lot of work.

Luckily, Megatron's color scheme is quite simple. Grey/Silver & Black... that's it. So, to add more flavor to the color scheme, I add some gold in there, which is the only color I add on this figure. It would have been nicer if I had different shades of gold, but I only have one. It'll do just fine I think.

So this was when phase 2 was halfway done, so you can see the difference in the parts that have been added gold color and the parts that have not.

Movie on Sunday

Watched Ice Age 3 today with Threza and her siblings at Tropicana City Mall. I didn't even know the place was there..Now I know.

The ps3 games there are also quite decently priced. Some of the old games are priced at only RM129. Hell, that's the price usually found in lelong.com...

The movie was soooo funny at one part I laughed myself to tears.
It is definitely a worthy sequel to the Ice Age movies.

Apparently, there will be a new version of Leader Class Optimus Prime will be released soon. In this version, Prime will have his gun and his face will be the exposed version(without the mouth plate).

A little update for my Megatron project. I'm currently halfway through phase 2. ^^

Project Beautifying Megatron Phase 1

Firstly, let me introduce him.

Meet Leader Class Megatron from Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen toy-line.

As stated on its box,

"Rebuilt with parts Cannibalized from other Decepticons, Megatron rises once again to lead his army. Though the AllSpark destroyed him once, he can now feel its power coursing through his circuitry. It calls him to seize his rightful place as ruler over the puny planet on which he was imprisoned and destroyed, and from which he will launch his conquest of the universe. Optimus Prime is all that stands between him and victory, and the Autobot leader has done a poor job of hiding himself. At long last, Megatron knows exactly where his enemy is, and he has power enough to destroy him."

Stated also on the box, "Ages 5+".
Though this might look like a toy for children, I'm gonna do something that I'm sure kids don't do to their transformers toys.

I'm gonna beautify my Megatron further.

Overall, I've decided to break down this project into a few phases.

What I do in this phase is simply removing unwanted colors. On Megatron, there is only one part which has an unwanted color in my opinion. That is, the red panel on his right arm/cannon.

Basically I just soaked cotton buds with thinner and rub them on the paint to remove the existing color.

To me, the red color on his arm seemed out of place to his color scheme so, I decide to remove it before going further.

Transformers 2

I'm back in the mood ^^(YES!!)

First of all I would like to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes whether through sms, facebook or myspace. This is the busiest day for my Facebook & phone. Thank you again.

Transformers 2 movie has been out for a while now and its worldwide gross of 600+ million and still going strong(i guess). The movie actually got serious bashing from professional critics and some of the fans. Some said that "Too many explosions", "147 minutes of explosions", "Bad acting", "Bad storyline", "Too many plot-holes", and so-on.

And guess what? The movie still goes strong in terms of numbers. I've read one tag-line in one site(which i couldn't remember which site) that says "Transformers 2 might be the highest selling bad movie." Something like that.

Whatever people say either he's a professional or not, it doesn't matter. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the movie. Watched it 5 times.. and still wanna watch it again.. if i can.

I've bought the prequel comics for the movie as well. There are 2 books "Alliance" and "Defiance". Each book consists of 4 parts.

I will write about these prequels in another post soon.

Other than that, now I have 4 toys from this movie toy line. First,

Optimus Prime(Leader Class),

Bumblebee(Human Alliance),

Ironhide(Voyager Class),

Megatron(Leader Class).

All four in vehicle mode.

Hopefully I will be able to get some more from this toyline...teeheehee....

Just woke up...

About the quiz, I can answer 90% of all the questions but my level of confidence... well... I'd say at most 30%. Luckily half of the questions are MCQs. I have to buy the text book. *sigh*

Apparently she read my blog too. Whatever happens, I'm still entitled to write about how I really feel. I can't stay politically correct every time and ignore my feelings. If she wants to be affected by my writings, that's entirely up to her.

Maybe this is the only way she'll forget me. This will be for the best.

Now hopefully this is my last pointless rantings about this thing. Seriously, for the actual boyfriend, I wanna say this, though I may not know you:

Easier Said Than Done

Finally..

A bunch of things happened to me this week.

Firstly, I'd like to welcome back my laptop from "almost dead" state. -_-"

Yeah..2 days ago, it was sunday, my laptop just "died" suddenly just when I was in the middle of watching Naruto...and it was on its good part of the story too...damn... not really died but more like, crashed.. bunch of green colored stripes all over my monitor. When I restarted my laptop, the screen shows some mysteriously decipherable image which I simply just could not comprehend....I see... symbols... what could it be?

I was just kidding.. the backlight still functions but the monitor displays nothing.. just black screen.. I tried restarting it a couple of times but with the same result. I can hear all the sounds of Vista logging in and I blindly typed my password to successfully log in my laptop. Then, I would press the Windows key, and tapped right direction a few times, hoping that it would highlight the Shutdown command, which I successfully had done a few times until I'm quite sure there was something unrecoverable about the display thingy in my laptop.

So, I decided to go out that day. Can't call for services because it was Sunday. So I went to Mid Valley, bought 3 comic books(Prequels for the Transformers 2 movie and its adaptation), bought 1 transformers which I'll tell about in other post and tried to make a duplicate of my house key(cyberjaya house).

The house key has another story of its own...which i might tell later on.

Basically I go to other few places after that, then that evening have some practice with Freeloaders INC for some event on Wednesday.

The next day(Monday), about 9am, I woke up and called Dell to ask them to repair my laptop. They sent someone on the next day(Tuesday) and changed the whole motherboard & hard disk. Apparently the problem lies in my display adapter and my hard disk... T_T

So, now my laptop has a brand spanking new brain & HDD. ^^ I just hope I can make backups for all those precious data on my old HDD.

Now about the house key, to summarize, I practically already made 3 duplicates of the house key & none of them seem to work. What the hell??! Have to go again to the shop tomorrow to ask them make the key properly.

So that's it for the troublesome stuff that happened.

Something 'good' happened to me about last week if I'm not mistaken... I finally (presumed) that I ended my single life and get into a proper relationship with someone. I was happy. Yeah.. who doesn't? Cinta berputik semua mau jiwang2.. XD
I was content. I feel blessed. I feel all those good things in such a short amount of time.

Learned something shocking(at least it is shocking for me) tonight. Apparently, the girl, IS CURRENTLY in a relationship with another guy. It looks like I was just there as a substitute because at the time her boyfriend doesn't seem to give her enough attention(don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing. This is just my understanding of her situation with her bf)

Maybe this is not a big deal to anyone, but it is, at least shocked me like "What the F?" but I said "it's OK. I'm okay. I can handle it. No big deal. Things like these are normal. We can't force how we feel to one another. Bla bla bla." All those positive stuff.

IT'S EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

I can't blame the girl though. I'm at fault as well. What the hell am I doing falling for the girl so fast.

Hey, I'm no saint. Just an ordinary guy with ordinary mental capabilities. So, naturally I was upset. Damn. I guess I don't have the luck for getting into this relationship stuff. Better just concentrate on other things.

My first post in July is this pointless ranting. Bear with me(for anyone who's reading this post) ^^

Kyrios 1/100 Review Pt.1

Finally finals over...

Okay, it's time I try reviewing one of my Gundam.

This is Kyrios of scale 1/100. Kyrios is the third Gundam from Gundam 00 Season 1 I bought. The first being 1/100 Dynames, followed by 1/100 Exia.
Firstly I like the color of the gundam of course...somewhat in the yellow family..
I pretty much like the designs of all 1/100 scale gunplas from this series. They are all very detailed and the articulations are not bad.

Being a 1/100 scale model, there are quite a lot of paintings to do for this kit. I've learned using a clear paint in the process of assembling this kit. I mixed clear blue & yellow to achieve a desirable clear green effect for the green panels on the chest, arms & the side of its head. You can't really see the effect from the photo above, the green panel looks like black because of the lighting.

In the photo above, I've marked the parts that are painted. Mostly with grey paint which I paint using grey gundam marker. There are also some dark grey part that are painted on the gun. Yeah.. so basically you have to do all the paintings to achieve the amount of details which for me is quite good enough.

Okay, now here you can see the green effect achieved from the clear green paint.(The original color of the green circular panel is just clear transparent. I've been wondering how to achieve that effect for some time. Finally I'm glad to know that there's no need for fancy2 techniques.

I also did my usual sanding technique using tamiya abrasives to achieve the matt look. Combined with the Real Touch Marker for the panel lining, it makes the kit looks a bit weathered(with some shadow effect & all).

This is the view from the back. Looks quite bulky. Kyrios is a transformable mobile suit. So, the articulation is not as flexible as either Dynames or Exia and this gundam is the type that looks better posed with a stand. Its design is for aerial combat after all.

Creed's Reunited!!

Creed(band) was formed in 1995 with band members, Scott Stapp(Vocalist), Mark Tremonti(Guitars), Brian Marshall(Bass) & Scott Phillips(Drums).

The band gains in popularity in late 90s with their hit singles "Higher" & "With Arms Wide Open" from their 2nd album "Human Clay"(1999).

The bassist, Brian Marshall left the band in 2000.

The band released their 3rd album, "Weathered" in 2001. The band went well until 2004, when they officially announced their break-up.

It was a sad news to me until I heard of the forming of Alter Bridge, which consists of the same band members as Creed, with a new vocalist, Myles Kennedy. To my pleasure, their music was really good. You can really hear the band's improvement over the years.

One day, I was searching for videos of Alter Bridge in youtube, hoping to find a good quality live videos, and I found one. It's a preview of their soon to be released live DVD. A video of Myles Kennedy performing "Watch Over You".

As usual, i scrolled down and read some comments. So, one of them said"
"What happened to Alter Bridge? I heard that Creed's reunited with their Full Circle."
Something like that.

I was shocked.

So I went over to Wikipedia(the easiest source of info these days) and search for Creed.

There it was stating that Creed really has reunited.

To summarize, Scott Stapp had a meeting with the other band members, had some sort of talks, jamm a bit, discuss something, and they decided that Creed could still make a comeback.

They will have a reunion tour on August 5th - October 14th.(2009)

They have completed work on six demos & planned to record the album. Creed's next album will be titled "Full Circle".

Even though with Creed's rerunion and all, Alter Bridge will still be there. The band(Alter Bridge) stated that the reformation of Creed has no effect on Alter Bridge's whatsoever. After Creed's tour, Alter Bridge will return to the studio to record their 3rd album.

So, now, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall & Scott Phillips have officially 2 bands to handle. (must be hard work)

Last night was quite fun..
Had a show in MMU's multipurpose hall for an event called "Music for GAZA". An event organized by the collaboration for clubs and organizations in MMU such as SRC, DJ club, Usrah and many more.

Overall for me, the event was kind of like a 'low-profiled' event. It was not grand nor too happening. But was decent event. Everything was organized quite well. No rushing, no last minute changes. All in all, it was quite good despite there being quite few crowds. Only half of the hall at the most.

Seven bands performed for this event. We(Freeloaders Inc) were the second last band to perform.

Performed 2 originals and 2 covers. Our song lists was:
1. Use Somebody - Kings Of Leon cover (finally get to perform this song for the first time. It was fun!^^)
2. Dusta - original song
3. Personal Jesus - original song
4. Best Of You - Foo Fighters cover

And I thought we were done after Best Of You but some of the crowd seemed wanted more so we played another song.
5. Hump De Bump - Red Hot Chili Peppers cover

Shazwan's(vocalist) girlfriend happened to record 2 of the songs we performed using her phone(i think) and the sound was quite OK.
Surprisingly our sound balance was also quite OK.

Monash Music Festival

Had a performance in Monash just now..it was... like Jeremy(our bassist) said "premature" ^^...

We are suppose to have 30 minutes slot...But got cut off after our 3rd song and was kind of being 'politely asked to get off the stage' by the emcee...Which sucks...We should have just played like 2 songs and got off the stage before the emcee can announce us off since they were so determined to cut off band performance's time on stage. They should have just give all the band's 15 minutes slot from the beginning...not 30...

Anyway, for me, the performance was just so-so...At least we got to perform our 2nd original song in Monash for the first time.

GunPla Updates...

Okayy...it's time for me to write something.. it's almost the end of April..=)

Lately, I really do suffer from extreme laziness... I lack any motivation to do just about anything besides sitting in my room watching animes, tv series and stuff like that...owh.. and building gunplas...My gunpla collection have some sort of progress lately... If afiq's not around to pick me up for band practice, I doubt I will be going out at all.

Alright..now I'd like to share some photos of a gunpla that took me just 1 day to complete...

HG 1/144 OO Riser...Yeah...it's 1/144 scale..so it's quite small..that's why i can finish it in one go..

For this kit, all I did was cut the part from its runners and snap fit them together...No sanding the surface like I always did for my gunpla..

For the panel lines, i used black Real Touch Marker...color the edges...and wipe out the excessive ink with cotton buds...its easy... less time consuming..and the effects are pretty cool...=P

For gunpla this small...coloring the head is a pain...the yellow fin, the grey part on the cheek and the red part connecting the fin to the head needs coloring..

This kit is very flexible for a 1/144 scale..

Dragonball Evolution

First off, I enjoyed the movie.

Despite all of the people hating the movie before it even came out, I have faith in it. Though, somehow I believe it could have been better but the movie is still a decent adaptation to the Manga & Anime.

The character's looks are different. Of course, you can't expect an adaptation to follow exactly like the source material. Besides, I couldn't think of anyway to make somebody to look exactly like Goku.

Goku in the movie looks Goku enough for me. Bulma looks fine. Chi chi looks okay. Yamcha... no comment. My only complaints about character's looks would be Roshi. If they doesn't want to make him bald with beards, they could have at least make him looked older.

Next, about the characterization of the characters.
Goku feels right. And yes, they inserted modern aspect inside Goku's character which in the Manga/Anime, Goku is practically a 'jungle boy'. In the movie, he still has Goku's innocent character to a certain degree. His goofy & foolishness characters there. The way he mocks his opponent when he fight with bullies is very Goku-ish.(Goku-ish in the sense of Goku in Dragon Ball, not DBZ.. the small Goku)

Bulma is OK. She's tougher than her manga/anime counterpart, but not that its a problem though. Her intelligence is not really shown besides the fact that she said she had a pHD in applied dynamics. She's more adventurer-type in the movie.

Chi Chi doesn't have much role in the plot of the story actually besides being Goku's love interest. The way Chi Chi is being portrayed is fine with me. Like Goku, instead of a daughter of the Ox King of an amazon area, she comes from a rich family..and her house do look like a castle.(Maybe a little nod to the fact that in the manga/anime, she's the daughter of a King) Her love for martial arts is apparently a secret from her family though, her fight's not very well choreographed or maybe Jamie Chung doesn't really fight well.

Roshi, besides his appearance, I don't have problem with anything else. He still retains his comical character and a pervert(though it has been toned down).

Yamcha is a bit too foolish for me. He seemed... overacting at times. He doesn't have much role either.

Picollo looks good. Though his antenna doesn't stick out like the manga/anime, he looks fine. He got a bit too little screen time though. There's no explaination about how he escapes from his prison after 2000 years. He's a bit underused for this movie in my opinion.

I don't know if its just the asian version of the movie, the movie feels rushed with running time of only about 85 minutes. One plot jumps to another so fast that it feels underdeveloped. The final fight scene between Goku and Picollo is also too short.

Apparently the US version have a run-time about 100 minutes. I will have to wait till the DVD came out to watch the full version..T_T

Now talking about budget and quality ratio. The budget for this movie is suppose to be 100 million... though it doesn't feel like a 100 million movie to me... Even Lord of the Rings's budget is around 97 million(individual movies). So IF the budget really is 100 million.. I would be so much dissappointed with this movie because the quality I expect would be very much like LOTR movies.

So...it looks like my assumption is not wrong. There's a source that says that the actual budget for Dragonball Evolution is 45 million. Now the quality of the movie make sense. So, people! You can't compare this movie to Watchmen like how in most forum does. "Watchmen is a lot better... bla bla bla..." Watchmen's budget is 150 million!.. more than 3 times more than Dragonball Evolution.

At the current stats, for the sales in Asia... by 29th March 2009, Dragonball Evolution has a total gross of about 21 million from 8 countries. Almost half the budget for the movie. Not doing so bad actually. It will only be released in the US 10th of April.

Like some say, this movie is not great, not epic, but not bad like most people think. Most people that hate this movie usually is very close-minded when watching the movie, thus making them dissappointed. And alot also expect Dragon Ball Z adaptation. Remember, this movie is adapting Dragon Ball, not Dragon Ball Z.. So, there will be no gigantic blasts, Super Saiyan, Super Speed, Epic battle than destroys planets and so on.

Akira Toriyama says, "this movie is another dimension of Dragon Ball." So treat it as a new story, not expecting everything stay the same with the source material.

Again like some say, this is a decent movie, an enjoyable action flick. This is all only my opinions of course.

Okay..I've been M.I.A just like the title of my blog for a while...

Well, I've been recovering from eye sickness..(pheww!!) My left eye is still red a bit but the pain is gone... I hope for good...

I've finally completed my 1/100 Kyrios and last two days I've assembled HG 1/144 00 Raiser as well...I have taken photos of them but I misplaced my card reader.. so, uploading those photos will have to wait...

As far as my studies goes, I can say that until now mostly I've been studying on my own.. Hopefully I can catch up with the pace and do well in all the subjects.

About Naruto.... HINATA!!! Please don't DIE!!!!

I've ordered one of my most anticipated game, Resident Evil 5... And it has arrived yesterday in Kuching!! Can't wait to get back to Kuching next weekend.... ^^

Then, one of the most anticipated (i mentioned anticipated twice already ^^) movie for me has finally been released!!! I'll have to go watch it even if I have to go watch it alone. (I'll take a cab if I have to^^)

Dragonball Evolution is out!!!!

And there's new news about Dragon Ball anime as well!... There will be a remake of Dragon Ball Z in HD. It will be called Dragon Ball Kai and will be released 5th of April. It will consists of 100 episodes instead of the original 291 episodes.

Here I came across one of those that sounded really good when I was messing around looking for videos in Youtube(as usual)^^

Anyway, the song that I meant was Without You performed by Hinder. Hinder for me was just another rock band which their last album sounded just average where according to someone I know, their sounds & appearances does not match one another Which I found somewhat true. I don't really care what the band looks like, as long as they have good songs, nice to listen, that's good enough.

What a good song meant for me is basically their overall sound and melody. I could not judge any song by their lyrics because I'm never good in interpreting lyrics. Most of the time I sing a song, I memorized the lyrics but I don't know what they mean. ^^

Okay, back to topic.

Acoustic guitar sounds, combined with piano, strings and awesome backing vocals, making this song sounded so beautiful.(I'm always a fan to songs with good backing vocals) The original song sounded just like any typical modern rock songs with a mainstream quality but after I listened to this acoustic version, it sort of making me look at this song in a new light.^^

I'm just wondering, how true such phrases are meant when being used...

I came across this conversation recently:

A: C, I met the girl just now.

C: Owh? So, what happened?

A: I just do like this. *making a half-hearted smile* And then walk away.

In C's mind, "Why the hell did you do that for?" but kept silent.

A continues his story.

A: I met her at ....*bla bla bla*...(just to shorten the story) When I walked away, I couldn't see what her reaction was but when I arrived at my room she smses me asking what's wrong. Why would she do that?

Again in C's mind, *DUH* <-- I hated this expression but it just seemed appropriate at the time...^^

C: Of course she is concerned about you. Its not like you guys had any problem with each other right?

A: Well, yeah. But it hurts. I like her too much and I know she's not available.

C: Treating her like that won't help the situation one bit. Like I said, be friends. Know her better. The way you're acting now, sooner or later she'll feel annoyed or even disgusted and whatever relationship you had with her will be ruined.

So that's what brought me into writing this post.
The word's in phrases like:

"I will love you FOREVER"
"Di setiap degupan jantungku ada kamu"

Or any other 'jiwang' phrases might sound cool and all.. but personally I think, those phrases suit better in songs or cards or whatever else as a symbol... Just symbolic idea of how much you love someone and... NOT to be taken seriously...

Why?

Because, in every relationship I came across, or that I know of, usually they couldn't keep up with such promises...

Again... why???

Because, words and phrases like Forever, Eternal, All my life are much to strong a word/phrase for any normal human being to keep up. Unless of course you can see the future. ^^

This is just another random thought that came to me in the middle of the night.^^

I'll admit that I've an obsession(Notice I use the word obsess in place of a crush or in love^^) over a girl for a long time but still I don't think she's here in every beat of my heart. *hahaha! INGGA ku nenga mun ku madah benda gia*

I know I need to post new stuff in my blog but lately I've been too LAZY to do almost anything except reading books(Wow!!)

I've got tons of things to post about but I've not yet found the initiative to do anything about them..

Again, this post has no meaning to it except just random ramblings of mine just to satisfy the need to post something in the midst of my LAZY state...So, I'll just keep on writing on whatever comes to mind in this post..Pardon me if I jumped in and out of topics...

I have just finished reading the 1st 2 books of Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar series called Magician: Apprentice & Magician: Master. Now I'm into the third book.

Owh, and last week, Freeloaders Inc.(one of my bands) finally had their jamming session and completed 1 song.(just the music, vocals... not yet ^^)

I've been meaning to watch a movie last weekend, but..well.. we can just plan..

Resident Evil 5 will come out 13th March.. I can't wait...^^ I'll be back in Kuching on the 20th to 29th March... Hopefully YTM doesn't do their 'ever usually wrong-timed' camps for us at that time around so I'll not have to change the date of my flights to and from Kuching.

Memory's lost

My handset's alarm was set quite early today for I wouldn't want to miss class on the first day I came back from holiday. It took me a few hours of snoozing until I finally woke up. After a refreshing shower, I was really in the mood for class. Packed my laptop, some blank papers for taking notes, a calculator my mp3 player and I'm off to class.

Went through 5 levels of stairs, 2 hostel blocks then to the main campus. I looked around, saw some posters showing some activities that had been done and yet to be done. Then, i came across 1 that promotes some Valentine's Day stuff. The date was from 2-13 February operating daily from 10am - 4pm if i remember correctly. The venue is Central Plaza which I will get through shortly.

As I was getting close to Central Plaza, i notice how few people i saw in campus. In fact, I saw no one in Central Plaza, around XR lecture halls, 1 or 2 people in front of the library. Now, where is that valentine's booth? "What? Everyone's in class?" I thought. I continued on my route to class on the 2nd floor of FIT building.

It never occur to me how strangely few people i saw. My class was scheduled 11am and the time was 11 just as I arrive in the FIT building. I started worrying about being late, even though at most I'll be late 3-5 minutes. Not that it matters that much to me but last week, my friend was saying she got kicked out of class for being 5 minutes late! The lecturer said "NO EXCUSES!" and asked her to leave the class. I was afraid that I'll be having more of that type of lecturer this trimester.

Just as I'm about to arrive at my class's room, my father called.

Bapak: Adi, baruk bangun kah?

Adi: Sik pak, baruk mok sampe kelas.

Bapak: Kitak ada call kah?

Adi: Call? Sekda lah.

Bapak: Aih? Apa ada miss call?

Adi: Aih? Mena kah? Sekda bah Adi tipon.

Bapak: Oh. Sik hal lah. Bait2lah sinun.

*call ended*

Perhaps I pressed the call button in my sleep? No? Anyway, I had arrived in front of my class and the door's locked! What the hell?

Then I started thinking back. Class canceled? No. There's no announcement about that that I know of. What if... it's a holiday... Then the thought came back to me, all the clues that how few people was in campus and all. Today IS a public holiday!

OO MA GOD!!!! All those hype and worrying and walking to class thinking what to study just to find locked lecture rooms.

Feeling ashamed of myself for not to know this holiday, I walked back to my hostel, calling some of my friends on the way to ease the shame. Bak kata urang Serawak, kede ngan dirik mpun.

So, I got the whole day to rest. So I decide to reorganize things in my laptop. I was thinking of reinstalling Vista back. So, I move all my data to the D drive partition and start the formatting process. First, I must install the Dell's Media Direct before installing vista as it says on the CD "Use this before installing your OS". So, after making sure every data i want to keep had safely been moved to D partition, I start booting my laptop using CD.

Then, 3 options appear on screen:

1. Use all memory in C:... bla bla bla...
2. State how much memory in C: the rest will be in D:
3. Exit

So, I choose 1. There's a beep and a warning message:

Warning! Doing this will erase all data on your HARD DISK DRIVE.
Y: yes
N: no
R: return previous screen

Thinking that it only appears to effect the C: partition I currently have, i pressed Y.

Shortly afterward:

Operation Completed. Remove Media Direct CD and install your OS. Boot your OS then, insert the Media Direct CD to complete the installation.

Okay, simple enough. I inserted my Vista installation CD, select some options until it came to the partition select screen.

Partition 1: 229GB Free: 229GB Primary
Partition 2: 3GB Free: 3GB Logical
Partition 3: 299GB Free: 50GB Primary

At first i thought, okay, there's 3 partitions, so one must be C drive, D drive and the logical must be for the Media Direct. Then I saw how much memory in each partition. What? 229GB? I remembered my C drive only had 90 plus GB.

O MA GOD!!!!!!! All my data got erased!!!! Why oooo why didn't I see the HARD DISK DRIVE in the warning message.

Now I lost all my mp3s, pictures, videos, games, mangas and some other good stuff. T_T

I haven't write anything on this blog ever since i get back to Kuching because...well.... 1stly I'm quite occupied with games...2ndly... internet connection here is quite slow...

for these 2 weeks I've been trying to book a flight to KL...I can't get through both MAS and Air Asia website...and it's quite frustrating...I don't know whether it's because of our internet connection or because of heavy traffic in both sites...

Just checked my results for last sem....I passed all 3 subjects!!! with decent CGPA...that's a relief...I've been worried for my computer security...luckily I passed...I got an oath to fulfill... ^^

A little update on my gaming activity... I've completed these games in this 2 weeks....

Exams are done!!! Though I might say not the most confident exam I've ever had... or rather...it's the exam I'm most not confident with...-_-

For now I'm just glad it's over...If I ever get good grades for this subject, I'd shave my hair.... XD

Dizziness I feel in my head tells me that I need to sleep...but when I'm on my bed..trying to sleep...I get restless...my heart's racing... I don't know why... excited???

I should start packing stuff..and send some of my valuable things to my sister's....

By all means...I hate reading text books....
They often have so many words arranged in a boring kind of way that it's hard for me to keep focused on reading for more than 20 minutes....

Aghhhh....and yet I've to study using this text book because the lecture slides have so little content and explanation for me to understand....

Why ooo why didn't the author of text books write them like a story book?? That way I could easily finished reading 100 pages in one go...

Oh well...this is my last paper this sem...might as well get it over with... -_-

One of my subject's coursework marks came out today i think...I scored pretty well for the assignment..which was a..surprise for me... =P Alhamdulillah...
It seems I'm still on track...

Like always, i slept the whole day today until I get sick of sleeping.. ^^ Afiq asked me something about blogs..and I replied his sms half asleep...XD I can't really remember what I typed...

Now finally Afiq has got a blog..His writings always have that colorful style which is fun to read..sometimes I wish I could be creative when writing..well...I'm still learning...

Okay now, to the main topic...

We have almost arrived at the end of 2008 (WOW! that's fast...I still can't grasp fully that 2008 is almost over) and will be welcoming 2009 in a good way or bad way...that's up to you...

Now, I'd like to think back what I've been through this year...some of it that is(what I can remember)...^^

First its my studies...to summarize, I'd say that I'm not really pleased with how i did in my studies so far in 2008... I often get sidetracked, didn't take studies seriously...so my result was just average.....luckily....

Then, this is also the first year that I finally got my scholarship...I can Rejoice!! ^^ Financially I'm secured for my studies...

Of course, last August was the first time I've ever went overseas! (apart from Indonesia & Brunei) My first trip to Perth...there, I had my first encounter in using the GPS system...and also the first time I get to teach Silat in ENGLISH....its actually harder than it seems...XD

There are a few performances I did this year...2 silat performances and some music performances(I don't remember) Also in July, I've had the most aggresive performance I've ever done on stage...during that performance, I get to get in touch with one of my 'almost long lost' friend, Izzah...Also performed in Monash's & VU's prom night...This sem I've done 2 acoustic performances...I actually sang(lead vocals... O_O)

Then, finally got my 1st guitar effects processor, BOSS GT-8(2nd hand of course)... and a cute little guitar amp, Roland Micro Cube...See the pics, you'll know what I meant by cute...

About my robots collections...I've bought a number of gundams...but only 1 transformers figure...Megatron from Transformers Animated series...not many gundams I've manage to complete this year, which leads to the large stocks of gundam kits which are still untouched waiting to be assembled...Looks like I'll never run out of gundam kits to assemble for the time being...

I've had my first photoshoot experience as I stated in my recent post.

Life's incomplete without a few drawbacks and unfortunate events...I've got my quite new external hard drive stolen...(was partly my mistake)...I hope whoever stole it are decent enough to delete all photos in there...there are family photos there...some Raya photos..birthday photos...etc...T_T...
Then, there's this problem with my previous house's landlord in Cyberjaya...where I had to finally move to MMU's hostel in a hurry...(there are bright side of moving to hostel though...except the circumstances I've faced when moving out of the house was...well...I think I'd rather live without it... ^^)

Okay....for now, that's all I can think of reflecting back on 2008...

Now facing forward towards the coming of 2009...

Of course the usual aim is to be a better person...
I'd like to improve on my studies...
Improve on my social relations...(I'm quite anti-social lately.. =S)
Improve on my religious duty....
Be better in handling money...(control my spending habits)
Exercise regularly(Keep FIT)
Have a whole lot of new collections for gundam collections..^^ (of course, this is a contradiction to the handling money part.. XD)

The more specific things I want to do in 2009...

Little Big Planet(LBP) is a PS3 game released a while back..
This game caught my eye because of its high ratings..

Personally I don't actually know much about this game but after seeing videos of this game, it's beginning to appeal to me...But I'm not so sure on buying this game..
Until yesterday I saw a video of MGS4(Metal Gear Solid 4) pack for this game..
It's funny how they blend the characters from MGS4 into the world of LBP...

What I know about this game is that the world of LBP is created by collecting all the dreams and ideas of humans...So you are apparently exploring the world of imaginations in the game.. It gets pretty cool..You can do a lot of stuff and from what I see.. The game really tests the level of your creativity..And it looks fun to play especially when playing with friends..

Now I'm seriously am considering on buying this game for its many features and graphics.. But there's time factor that i have to consider as well.. And then of course there is money factor as well.. XD...

No More Naruto Fansub??

Dattebayo : A fansub group that has been subbing Naruto for 4 years plus...

I had just read a recent post from their website.

They have been trolling to stop subbing Naruto for so many times just for the fun of it...

Now, it seems, unfortunately they are going to stop subbing Naruto for REAL... (Naruto Shippuuden to be exact..)
Effective from 15th of January 2009...

Reasons??

Apparently TV Tokyo has announced that it will begin STREAMING English subtitled Naruto Shippuuden through Crunchyroll..The subbed show will air approximately an hour after the actual show airs in Japan..
(Actual news here...)
Unfortunately this service will NOT be free.. Users will have to subscribe and there will be a small FEE to STREAM each episodes... The episode will be FREE after 7 days though...

Viz Media will also STREAM the latest Naruto Shippuuden episodes a week after its airtime in Japan starting on 15th January...

Resident Evil: Degeneration

Resident Evil 5 is yet to be released. 2 days ago I've discovered this movie. Resident Evil: Degeneration. It's a CG movie developed by Capcom.

Unlike the previous trilogy movie, this one is set in the same world as the original game.

Events in this movie is taking place 7 years after Racoon City incident. About 3 years after Leon's encounter with the Las Plagas(Resident Evil 4).

These are the two familiar characters(for those who played the game) that appear in the movie...

Leon S. Kennedy

His attire is the same as during Resident Evil 4 game. Apparently, he is still a special agent working directly under the President.

As cool as he can be...^^

Claire Redfield

She's cute...^^ I like!!

And she still kicks ass!!!

Unfortunately she doesn't get too much action in this movie...

And there is also an appearance of them from 7 years ago(a flashback)

They're in their Resident Evil 2 attire...how nostalgic.. ^^

Owh...this time, they are facing the T & G virus again.. Not the Las Plagas.
There is not much I can say about the story. It's not great, just a typical Resident Evil story. A few cheesy moments where Leon is wayyy too cool... I think they can do better with the storyline but as I'm a fan of the RE series since long ago...I can't help but being excited about this movie no matter how it turned out...^^
Plus, Claire is cute... XD.... I said that twice already...

It'll be fun to watch this movie with fans of RE games.. I bet Afiq & Trah will like this one too... =P

Lost to Temptation...

Transformers Animated(TA) - The latest animation of the transformers series. At first, I was disappointed with the designs of this particular transformers series. The design seemed too 'cartoon network-ish' to me. You know, the 'big torso, small legs' type of design. Typical cartoon network's cartoon design.

Despite the design, I watched the show just for the sake of Transformers... ^^
Then, I started thinking, "Hey, the story's not bad." So, I followed the series from there on. The more i watch, the design of Megatron's beginning to appeal to me.

I still don't like Optimus Prime's design though. He looked like Johnny Bravo.... =S
Megatron's a different matter. The proportion of Megatron's body seemed OK to me. He looked wicked enough to be the leader of the Decepticon. Also, he is designed closely resemble Generation 1's Megatron, which is great.

Yesterday, I went to Alamanda to buy shampoo, facial wash & other daily stuff, I stumbled across TA's Megatron Leader class. The temptation starts there... ^^
Somehow I manage to hold off the temptation to buy it there and then.
But, I was already 'poisoned'.

Then, today... I was thinking, "hmmm, I still don't have any TA figures. Maybe I should get one soon..."
After class, I checked E-Toyz for their transformer's stock but TA's Megatron is sold out.
I visit Seibertron.com to see their Megatron's gallery.
"Hmm...tempting....Megatron looks good..."

In the end, I was defeated by the 'poison'... so I went to Alamanda to get my own TA's Leader Class Megatron.

So, here it is, the newest transformers figure to add to my collection.

Now I'm gonna share a bit about my collections of gunplas(Gundam Kits)...

Most of my collections are now packed in their boxes and are at Kak Long's apartment except 3 which i brought with me in hostel. Fortunately Kak Long have apartment here in KL just as I had to move out from the Cyberia house. There's no way I can bring them all to hostel.. ^^

Owh..besides gunpla, I've collected a couple of Transformers and figurines as well... =P

It's great now that I can use Cybertracker anytime I want.
I can download anything available from Cybertracker in speeds as high as 10Mb/sec...

Despite that, I cannot download anything from the internet via torrents... T_T....
My downloads from outside does not even move a little bit after 3 days or more...its like outside connection for torrents are blocked here in the hostel...

So, now my downloads are limited to what they have here in Cybertracker ONLY....
In other words, my sources are somewhat limited now that I'm in hostel. I cannot download as freely as I used to when I'm in the Cyberia house...

Someday, I will have to find a way to get around it... In my first day in hostel, my downloads from outside runs pretty fast...after that it dropped to 0... I wonder why...

Well at least streaming, surfing & direct downloads speed are quite OK...^^

The latest game I played.
I've been thinking of buying this game for my PS3. To decide whether the game is worth the money, I played the PC version of the game.

This game is a horror adventure type of game in a sci-fi environment. As the name suggests, the setting is in space.
The gameplay is similar to Resident Evil 4 which is why I LIKE... ^^

The over-shoulder view very much like Resident Evil 4

In this game the instead of having the 'traditional' head-up display to display information, all info are displayed using a holographic projections, usually appear near the character's armor & weapons. This being said, everything you do will be in real-time, which means, you can still move around, being attacked, fighting monsters while your are accessing your info such as receiving messages, your inventory, maps & so on. Thus, it maximizes your in-game experience throughout the game.

Of course my laptop is incapable of producing the graphics of the game to its full potential, but from what I see from the video reviews and such, the graphics are beautifully done. Which is why I'm considering of buying this game for PS3. Everything looks very much alive. Monsters' dead bodies stay where they are where you killed them unless u leave the place long enough. The physics in the game looks pretty much well done. The way things move in the game looks real.
The sound is definitely amazing. Although I played the game only using my laptop speakers (haven't got the chance to connect my laptop with my speakers yet), I can hear the quality of the sound. As usual, music enhances the fright-factor of the game.

In this game, instead of the usual 'shoot the head' type of game, you will have to cut the limbs of the monsters to kill them and the monsters move really fast.

You can buy weapons, upgrade them, upgrade your armor & such. So far, I've only completed chapter 2. About replay value of the game? I'm not sure yet. I sure hope you get to keep all the stuff & upgrades you've gain once you finish the game for the subsequent play through. I'll find out about it soon enough.

The storyline, I'm not sure. Haven't finish the game yet. I think its OK so far.

There is actually an animated movie called Dead Space: Downfall. The movie is kind of the prequel to the game. If you're into storyline of the game, you definitely must watch the movie first before you play the game.

Brief introduction to the story:

Set in the 26th century, Dead Space revolves around Isaac Clarke, a space engineer who works for the Concordance Extraction Corporation (C.E.C.), a company that operates giant mining ships throughout the galaxy. When the C.E.C. receives a distress call from the USG Ishimura (a “Planet Cracker”-class ship that destroys planets in order to extract valuable ore), Isaac and four other C.E.C. employees set out on the USG Kellion to rendezvous with the Ishimura in orbit above Aegis 7. Their assumption is that a mechanical failure is the only problem. At the beginning of the game, Isaac is seen watching a video sent to him by his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Brennan, who is currently on board the Ishimura.

Shortly after crash landing on the Ishimura's flight deck, the crew of USG Kellion is attacked by hostile creatures called Necromorphs. These creatures reproduce by reanimating deceased human bodies, violently mutating and assimilating them to become one of their own (A process referred to by a scientific backstory log as "Recombination"). Isaac escapes down an elevator, and is separated from the rest of the team. At this point, Isaac, Kendra Daniels, and Zach Hammond are the only surviving members of the USG Kellion.

Last night me & zahier performed acoustic for an event called Kamikustik organized by some group of Indonesian students from MMU....

We were the 5th band out of 10..
All the performances seemed OK to me..

Zahier played acoustic guitar.
I do the vocals, electric guitar & tambourine on my right foot...
hahaha.. I always do want to try anything challenging for performances like this...

My performance was a disaster!!!
1st,... My tuning was off right from the start...
I had to stop zahier in the middle of his playing just to tune my guitar...
Then,.... I forgot my lyrics!! -_-
There was a couple of empty lines within the songs that we played....& some jumbled up lines in the last chorus of the 2nd song...

Talk about the consequences of not enough practice.. ^^

Anyway... We got good comments on our performance despite all the mistakes I've made...

I only have 2 pics(of us)...will ask more from the committee later..

Finally I'm on my first night in hostel.

My room is on the fifth floor... O_O.. & there's no lift...
Anyway, I'll just look at the bright side of it...
I get to exercise climbing stairs to fifth floor everyday... so, its an exercise I could not skip...

Holiday's over.

Now currently I'm staying in this 'dying house'. Since everyone starts moving out... There's no water... The water from the tank is slowly sinking every morning shower...So the term 'dying' seems appropriate somehow. ^^

My results out! I passed all my subjects..Glad I'm doing OK... Not great but OK....

That's not the issue though....

Just found out that the 'F*#%ing Stupid Moronic Idiot' landlord of my house in Cyberjaya owes the Cyberia management RM20K!!!!

I repeat 20K!!!! TWENTY THOUSAND!!! DUA PULUH RIBU RINGGIT!!!!

....and the management cut off our water supply until the FSMI landlord pays full amount....PLUS, the FSMI landlord is currently not in Malaysia...until about 2 weeks....

so, guess what?? We'll have to survive without water in our house for 2 weeks plus???

I think i'd have to move out from the house...apply for hostel... That's a LOT of stuff to pack.. T_T

The first thing that i have to do when i get back to KL is to start packing my stuff... T_T

I had finished MGS4 today!!

had sooo much fun playing it...maybe i can afford finishing it again a second time with the remaining 1 week plus... ^^

To me, the game feels like you're playing & watching movie at the same time...the cutscenes are very long....some even i think more than 30 mins long....

MGS games never disappoint me..
Every installment i feel like playing more than once...

No wonder the game got very high rating on both GameFAQs & GameSpot...

I definitely have to play the game again...wanna try unlocking as many secrets as I can.. ^^

It's my 2nd Sunday in Kuching.

1 of my many wishes came true yesterday as I decided to buy myself a PS3.. ^^
yes...a PS3!! The feeling was...overwhelming!!! XD
Now I have more things to look forward to in Kuching...

And the first game i played on PS3 was Metal Gear Solid 4... In fact..it's the only game i have for PS3 for now..

As for now..i will have to update a few things on what i wanted to do during my holiday...

My health is not exactly very good right now...well,... i do not treat my body very good lately...

I have to change...
I have to re-organize my life..

Anyway, i'll be back in Kuching tomorrow, hopefully... It's a 3 weeks holiday..the longest i could ever have in MMU... XD

Hopefully there will be no difficulties on my trip home...

usually, i'd just hang around jenk's place... but jenk & family is not in Kuching anymore.. T_T...

I had thought of bringing my guitar back with me this time, but it seems like i'll not be jamming much this holiday...

Episode 2 is entitled "Twin Drive"

I'm pretty confused on the name of the rebel forces... It's either Catalan or Kataron.. i don't know which is right..

Apparently, Allelujah was captured after the end of the 1st season.

Anyway,

In episode 2:

The testing of 00 Gundam's twin drive has been unsuccessful until now. All possible combinations with the exception of Exia's GN drive has been tested. They didn't mention which other GN drives so i assume its all the other 4(0 Gundam, Dynames, Kyrios & Virtue).
Kathy Mannequin accepted the role as a captain in A-Laws.
Saji now knows of the Gundam Throne & the truth behind the attack on Spain that kills Louise's family.
The commander of A-Laws is Homer Katagiri. A relative of Billy Katagiri I suppose.
Celestial Being, or just Setsuna now didn't bother keeping their identity secret. I said that because Setsuna is revealing Sumeragi's identity in front of Billy. This seemed to me is somehow inappropriate step for CB or Setsuna. They should be more careful.
Marina Ismail got arrested by A-Laws.
Lyle Dylandy accepts the offer to join CB as a gundam meister, or should I say for now he's monitoring CB's action on behalf of Kataron.
Wang Liu Mei gives a certain information about the current CB to Ribbons Almark (The Innovator). What's her motive this time? =S
Nena Trinity serves directly under Wang Liu Mei.
The Innovator somehow is secretly in contact with Homer Katagiri, the commander of A-Laws.
With the information provided by Wang Liu Mei, The Innovator reveals them to Homer & thus revealing the location of CB's mothership.
Mileina replaces Christina Sierra on Ptolemaious.
A-Laws attack on Ptolemaious 2.
The only functional suit on Ptolemaious now is Selavee Gundam. 00 Gundam is not operational until the end of the episode.

Setsuna starts up 00 Gundam with Trans-Am system. I wonder if 00 Gundam will have to use Trans-Am system every time it starts up?
GN particles emitted by the twin drives of 00 Gundam can be use as a shield from beam attacks.
The twin drive system is apparently unknown to the Innovators.
Everyone aboard Ptolemaious welcomes the new Lockon with a shock.

Personally, i don't really like the part when Setsuna miraculously able to start up 00 Gundam. Somehow it seemed immature to me. Well, its an anime after all.

Overall, the episode is OK for me. Not much excitement. You get to see the 'coolness' of 00 Gundam though. I want the gunpla! ^^

Episode 3 will be entitled "Allelujah's Rescue Operation".
